Daddy CakesŪ loves to support community based organizations. They are often the purest and most effective means for providing support to those people and organizations in need. Since our inception, Daddy Cakes has been a key supporter & spearheaded many great fundraiser events.
We have been part of, or organized, and catered pancake breakfasts and events for groups ranging from 75 to 2,500 people. We have helped schools, soccer clubs, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens by offering our packaged mixes to be sold by organizations and also by supplying our Staff and pancake mixes in bulk quantities at a discount to improve the quality, outcome, and experience a of a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. (The photo shown was when Daddy CakesŪ organized a pancake breakfast for the food & cash strapped "Someone Cares Soup Kitchen" and we invited Assemblyman Van Tran & City Council Woman Katrina Foley to serve (shown). As a company, Daddy CakesŪ, believes that there is a deeper level, which goes beyond just good fun, great food, and sustainability: to create and add value for society in a manner that is integrally linked to our core business strategies and operations. We call this "Creating Shared Value"; value created for the people we are involved with everyday including our families, employees, suppliers, farmers, consumers, charities and the communities where we operate. We may not be able to achieve all that is needed, but we can certainly make efforts to be an active party in working towards possible solutions.
Daddy CakesŪ sells apparel and inline with our "Creating Shared Value" we have started a new program to further support our philosophy and community. For every t-shirt that we sell, Daddy CakesŪ donates 1 pound of our mix - that will feed up to 8 people in need. Now, people not only feel good about wearing our fun designs, but the level of good karma they create is undeniable.
